Last Saturday Roy and I went to the ECCshow. The ECC stands for European Cavie Club… so yeah, I bet you didn't see that one coming?  A show with lots of guinea pigs? I can't ignore that, right?!

Anyway, it was about an hour to drive with the car, but we were almost the first visitors. We were a bit early because Roy had to work in the afternoon so we couldn't stay for long. We first walked around a bit to see a bit of the ECC Show. It wasn't that big at all but I also didn't expected many visitors since Guinea pigs aren't that popular yet (even when we try to share our love of guinea pigs with others  ).

On the ECC Show they had tons of guinea pigs and there were a few stands where you could buy all kind of stuff for guinea pigs. To be honest, we spent like 60-80 euro for our 4 guinea pigs and believe me, our guinea pigs were happy with the new purchases.

We saw lots of breeds of guinea pigs at the show. I loved every one of them, they were all so pretty. But one guinea pig was really standing out, and thanks to the lovely owner I was able to hold her skinny pig! Some of you might not like skinny pigs since they are mostly bald but I started to love them since I heard of them about a year ago. They are different from "normal" guinea pigs but they seem to be more open than other guinea pig breeds. Like the lady said, you'll be in love right away with them once you hold them!

I really enjoyed the show and I also met a few people from the guinea pig forum, but we couldn't stay long for a chat since it was time to go home again.   You guys should be proud of me, I didn't take any guinea pig home! (Mainly because we already have 4 guinea pigs and Roy didn't allow me to have more )   I can't wait for another piggy show :3
